Not many people can have missed the cheery advertisements put out by HMRC telling us how easy self-assessment is.
But in reality, it can be a pain, whether you are self-employed, a member of a partnership or the director of a limited company.
We understand that self-assessment can be time-consuming and stressful and that’s why we’ve introduced our specialist self-assessment service.

Self-Assessment for sole traders and individuals
For people who are in business as sole traders, the self-assessment process is the way that they report their income and pay their tax.
But if you have investments, foreign income or a little bit of a side hustle then you’ll also need to complete a self-assessment return.
The more things you have going on, the more pages you have to complete.
In fact, for many people, it turns into a long-winded exercise that they simply dread!
That’s why we’re here.
We’re specially set up to help individuals through the self-assessment minefield and we’ll talk you through your options, complete your return and submit on your behalf direct to HMRC.
If you have tax to pay then we’ll let you know the deadlines and if you are lucky enough to be owed a rebate then we’ll chase that on your behalf.
In short, we’re set up to make sure that self-assessment goes without a hitch.

Self-Assessment for partnerships
Partnership accounting is a very specialised discipline that takes training and experience.
Members of partnerships need to complete special pages in the self-assessment return but the partnership itself has to complete a return called the SA800.
This means that unlike sole traders the number of self-assessment returns is increased as is the complexity.
It makes sense then that all of this is handled by an experienced accountant.
We are specialists in producing partnership accounts, completing the SA800 and producing individual self-assessment returns for each of the partners, meaning that the whole process is coordinated and seamless.
We’ll look at the partnership as a whole, make sure you’re claiming all of the allowances you are due and then do the same thing with the individuals.
Our aim is to make sure your partnership is compliant and not paying more tax than it needs to.
Partnerships are all different so why not get in touch and tell us about yours?
Self-Assessment for Limited Companies
just like individuals, limited companies have to complete a self-assessment return.
And just like individuals, they have to pay tax!
So businesses need to make sure that they are on top of the situation and with our Limited Company self-assessment return service you’re in the box seats.
We’ll take your accounts, produce your limited company tax return (CT600) and file it with HMRC on your behalf.
Along the way, we’ll check that it is accurate and that you’ve claimed all the allowances you are entitled to.
We’ll look at the structure of your company to advise on the best methods of making it tax-efficient.
And we’ll make sure you don’t miss deadlines for submission and payment of taxes and that you are on top of your interim payment schedule.
